Privacy Policy
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create or manage an account, including company name, account email, authentication information handled by our authentication provider, billing and subscription identifiers, display names or locations, playlists, media files, and configuration choices.
We also collect technical information needed to operate the service, such as device identifiers generated by the bITsMenu Player, activation status, configuration version, last-seen timestamps, application version, request and error information, and similar operational data.
2. Content uploaded by customers
Customers may upload images, videos, menu graphics, pricing, branding, and other material for display. This content remains under the customer’s control and is processed only to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the bITsMenu service.
3. How we use information
- Provide and operate bITsMenu Control and Player services.
- Authenticate users and connect displays to the correct company account.
- Store, distribute, and cache customer media and playlists.
- Provide billing, subscription management, and trial administration.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unauthorized access.
- Diagnose technical problems and improve reliability and usability.
- Communicate important service, security, billing, or account information.
4. Service providers
We use third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate bITsMenu. These may include cloud hosting, database, authentication, storage, deployment, and payment providers such as Supabase, Vercel, and Stripe. Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices and only as necessary to provide services to us.
5. Payment information
Payment card details are processed by Stripe or another payment processor we designate. bITs Tech Solutions does not need to store full payment card numbers in the bITsMenu application database. We may store customer, subscription, invoice, and payment-status identifiers necessary to administer your subscription.
6. Cookies and authentication
bITsMenu Control may use cookies or similar browser storage required for authentication, session continuity, security, and core functionality. We do not use these technologies to sell personal information.
7. Data retention
We retain account information and customer content while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for billing, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backup integrity, or account restoration. Customers should remove content they no longer want stored. Some backup copies may persist temporarily after deletion.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer information. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, and customers are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and limiting access to authorized personnel.
9. Customer responsibilities and third-party personal data
If your menu content contains personal information, photographs, trademarks, copyrighted material, or other data relating to third parties, you are responsible for obtaining any permissions or notices required to upload and display that content.
10. Children
bITsMenu is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly offer accounts directly to children.
11. Your choices and requests
You may update account information through bITsMenu Control. You may also request assistance with access, correction, deletion, or account closure through the support contact made available by bITs Tech Solutions or within the bITsMenu service. Requests may be subject to identity verification and legal retention requirements.
12. United States and international processing
bITs Tech Solutions operates bITsMenu from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted in bITsMenu Control or otherwise communicated when appropriate. The effective date above indicates the current version.
